Many Anglicans throughout the nation of Belize, irrespective of the parish or mission to which they belong, when questioned, readily reply with an obvious feeling of pride, "I belong to St John's," meaning, of course, St. John the Baptist Cathedral. Indeed, even those who are not of Anglican persuasion have a deep regard and respect for the Mother Church of the Diocese.
