Our diocese is currently involved in attempts to establish new missionary congregations in our diocese, especially in many of the ethnic communities which have not typically been served by the Anglican Church. Many of these new missions in our diocese do not yet have a church building, or their buildings are in need of substantial renovations and upgrades. These congregations are mostly in rural communities and we seek to stabilize the church in these communities by providing a central place of worship that they can call their own.
One example of these mission congregations is Iglesia de Santa Trinidad (pictured), which ministers to the largely Spanish-speaking community in the village of Frank's Eddy in Cayo District.
